Park Rules & Policies

Check In Time: 1 PM – Check Out Time: 12 PM

Early check in can be arranged in some instances. Please ask about early arrival at time of booking. You do not need to contact the office for check out, unless you need to pay for an after-hours check in.

Late check-ins are allowed at any time, please just contact the park for instructions. (606) 288-0015

If you are staying in our park for a month or longer, we require an agreement to be signed.  Please contact us for more details.


Cancellation Policy

Long Term Stays (28 Days or More):

  • 14 Days or More Cancellation prior to Arrival Date: Full refund

  • 13 Days or Less Cancellation prior to Arrival Date: Refund is forfeited

Short Term Stays (27 Days or Less):

  • 7 Days or more Cancellation prior to Arrival Date: Full refund

  • 2 - 6 Days Cancellation prior to Arrival Date: 50% refund (deposit foreited)

  • Less than 2 Days Cancellation prior to Arrival Date: Refund is forfeited


All of the following rules are in place to help keep our campground and our guests safe.

* Failure to follow these rules will result in fees.
**Off The Hook RV Campground reserves the right to charge your card up to 48 hours after departure if policies are broken and a fee is required.

Site Changes

Unless you paid for a site lock, your site number could change before you arrive. You will be notified if your site number has changed. If you wish to move sites please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites.

Campfires and Wood

Open fires are not allowed in our park. Fires must be in firepits or designated fire rings. In the state of Kentucky it is illegal to burn wood from another state. We have firewood available for purchase that will be delivered to your site. Firewood is $5.00 per bundle.

Parking

Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges.

Site and Park Navigation

Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. Please use main roads, and designated paths to walk around the campground.

Washing

Washing RVs or campers is not permitted. It causes a mess and can be a bother to your neighbors.

Pet Policies

Leash
We ask that you keep your pets on a leash at all times. This helps you, your pet, and other guests and other guests’ pets stay safe.

Playground and Pavilion
Pets are not allowed in the Pavilion. We often have crafts and food items in the Pavilion that could be dangerous for your pet. Pets are not permitted on the playground equipment. Do not allow your pets to climb or sit on the picnic tables. Please do not tie your pet to our trees, doors, or posts.

Cleaning Up After Your Pet
Be a good neighbor and please use the vast open fields to walk your dog. Please clean up after your pet always. Do not let your pet deposit waste on your site or any of our other guests’ sites. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund and appropriate fees will be charged to your card.

Leaving Pets Unattended
Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect your pets well-being while you are away.

Pet Vaccinations
Due to Insurance Requirements, all pets must be vaccinated in our park. Please make sure your pet’s shots are up-to-date.

Barking
Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.

Vehicle Policies

Speed Limit
The park speed limit is 5 mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.

Parking
Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and 2 vehicles per site. Extra vehicles will need to be parked in additional parking areas located beside the black barn. Please do not park on our grass. Ruts caused in your site due to additional vehicles will result in damage charges.

Trailers, Boats, and additional vehicles must be parked in the overflow lot beside black barn. There is no additional charge for parking. No parking in common areas. Do not park in the middle of the road. Do not park in sites that you did not register for.

Golf Carts
Golf carts are welcome anywhere in the campground but speed limits and parking rules must be followed.

General Park Policies

Visitors
Only registered guests are permitted to enter the park. All visitors must be approved by the park manager. Visitors may not bring pets. Off The Hook RV Campground reserves the right to limit the number of people visiting a site. Day visitors must depart by 10:00 pm. Overnight visitors must depart by Noon. Please check with the office before inviting any visitors. Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all campground rules are followed.

All guests visiting someone in the park must park in the designated visitor/overflow parking area.

Electrical Use
You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in our RV. Amp usage over the 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.

Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.

Playground
Playground opens at 8 am after quiet time and closes 10 pm. Anyone under 18 must be supervised in all areas of the campground at all times. Please do not let your children climb or pull on the branches of our trees, as it damages them.

Quiet Time Policies
Quiet time is 10 PM to 7 AM. Anyone playing loud music will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund.

Dumpster and Recycling
Trash cans are located throughout the park. Please help us keep our park clean by disposing of your trash properly. Please do not place your trash on the ground.The dumpster is located in the overflow parking area. Do not dispose of wires, oil, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic waste or chemicals in our dumpster. Trash cans throughout the park are emptied once per day. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees.

If you are recycling, we currently recycle cardboard and aluminum. Please bring any recycling items to the blue cans alongside the black barn.

Fireworks and Firearms
Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibiting of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The prohibiting of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns. If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

Repairs
Repairs to RVs and vehicles are not permitted in our park. We are happy to recommend a local Mobile RV Repair service that comes out to your site to assist you with any repairs.
